The World Health Organisation and Centres for Disease Control have identified zoonotic infections as a risk to human health as highlighted by diseases such as ebola, SARS and H5N1. The concept of One Health is an acknowledgment of the interplay between human, animal and environmental health. There is currently a One Health network worldwide encouraging dialogue and collaboration between the three health areas. This is your opportunity to learn and gain experience in the One Health field.
